The building of Bethel Hall should be in one accord and in unity of heart, a testimony of the House of God. The LORD had reminded us through Haggai 1:4, “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?”. Once we learned the promise God gave us “…all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord (Num. 14:21b)“,even our contracted architect rejoiced in helping us enter the promise. We ought to love and fear our Lord, stay faithful to what He has entrusted to us, and move forward in one accord. May this ground be filled with God’s presence, love, providence and power of the Spirit. Let blessings flow from here and the glory of the Lord be revealed in us!

Jeff & Tong: On the occasion of the 31st anniversary we have a hope for the Bethel Hall project, that is, in three years at the celebration of the 34th anniversary we will already be gathering in Bethel Hall. God can build SVCA into a city on a hill, this is God’s dwelling place, it shall become a manifestation of God’s will and witness for generations to come, Amen!

Y. Rao: May the church’s gospel work be revived by God in the process of building the Bethel Hall let the gospel be spread by the church so that more of God’s people can come to Bethel Hall to worship Him.

A. Yu: My hope is that all of us would take the time to ask God what He wants from us and how we can be a part of what He is doing here. And in that process, our faith and our trust in Him is strengthened and refined.

J. Zhang: We cannot waste our lives but must move forward. The inheritance God entrusted in our hands cannot be neglected, we must also continue moving forward, esp. In the building of Bethel Hall. We pray that God help us to build together with one heart and one mind, and to glorify Jesus Christ in the end.

K. Branstetter: The thing I’m excited about with our Bethel project over the next couple of years is it’s gonna give us an opportunity to grow closer together as the people of God and to humble ourselves before Him.

George & Sydney: Our hope for Bethel Hall is that it will be filled with people worshiping God, and with the sound of worship like the roaring of many waters and the sound of thunder. We also long for God’s glory to fill the church and we desire our church to be a temple of prayer for all nations.

Z. Wang: As the church follows the pillar of cloud and fire to build the Bethel Hall may my family and I, along with my brothers and sisters wholeheartedly com-mit to it together had heard of You by the hearing of the ear but now we experience You.

W. Liao: When I was wrestling in high school,I always got butterflies before the aches. We’re in the fight of our lives, the fight to lose it that we may truly live. It’s my prayer that we would be in this fight together, but the Lord would use all of us to win this battle for Him. Amen!

S. Ni: This building project is about building up the church body, building up our spiritual lives so that we may become a dwelling place that God can take pleasure in. This is God’s desire. I’m excited to see what He’s going to do here in 2024. Praise the Lord!

H. Yuan: We are very grateful to God for having a share in the Bethel Hall project along with our brothers and sisters from the mother church. This is God’s grace. May Bethel Hall become a dwelling place where God is pleased, and where heaven and earth meet to bring blessings to all.

J. Ren: In the upcoming phase of building the church, we look forward to brothers and sisters praying in unity, loving one another sincerely, building authentically, and moving forward joyfully.

P. Qian: Through the construction of Bethel Hall may the Lord also build His work in our hearts, let Christ who lives in us assist us in dealing with our old selves so that the visible Bethel Hall and the invisible building in our hearts are both pleasing to God. Let’s all press on forward.
